Creating Interactive Digital Posters

    Glogster

A multimedia tool for educators and students that can incorporate text, images, music and video all in one place.

This Slideshare presentation by Jan McGee really says it all.

Here is a "how-to"  article on "Using Glogster EDU to Create Interactive Online Posters" by Jonathan Wylie.

Poster Yourself with Glogster EDU from AdamBellow on Vimeo.

NOW LET'S DO IT!

Let's create a poster.

1.  Choose your own topic.  Start off by finding and download pictures to your desktop about your topic.

2.  Go to http://edu.glogster.com/.  Enter the login information - nickname and password that has been set up for you.

3.  Edit your profile.  You can upload an avatar of yourself (5mb max).  Look at your account settings.  Change your password if you wish.

4.  Now let's create a glog.  Here's one I have started for demo purposes.

(Me - http://sa9zvcf.edu.glogster.com/edit/cool-tools-for-the-web-20-classroom/)

Lots of graphics to choose from.

Select a bubble and text.  Choose the title option if needed.

Upload, link or grab an image.

Add a video from School Tube.

Add some music from your collection.

     Add a file.

     Draw a picture.

     The wall is your background.
