Tips on how to create a better password

Avoid:

  • a short password
  • only lowercase letters
  • a word out of the dictionary
  • using the same password for all your different accounts

Do:

  • change your password on a regular basis
  • use at least 8 characters
  • include upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols
  • use different passwords

How to remember your password:

Think of a meaningful sentence, song lyric, quote or catchphrase.  For example:

As Bill Gates once said:  "640K ought to be enough for anybody"

So your password could be 64Oko2be4A

If you use hotmail you could use:  H64Oko2be4A and for a Google account G64Oko2be4A and for your wiki W64Oko2be4A.
