Media Awareness Network

Licensed to the Ontario Ministery of Education is a CD that has been distributed among Ontario schools (OESS licensed) - Web Awareness Workshop Series entitled Web Awareness Workshop Series and RealityCheck. This includes a series of workshop designed to bring educators up to speed on issues related to student use of the Internet. There is also a series of modules to help students in Grades 9-12 learn strategies for validating online information, optimizing searches and detecting bias and misinformation.

Creative Commons is a way for content creators to easily and uniformly assign usage rights for their online content.  Many people use Flickr to get their images, and use the search on their page.  If you go to http://flickr.comcreativecommons/ , you will be able to search for images that give certain copyright
